HGV Class 1 Driver – Fixed Supermarket Route

Quality Sourcing LTD are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider who specialise in nationwide food distribution. Our client has secured a long-term contract with a major supermarket chain and is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to operate fixed trunking routes between their London depot and local supermarket RDCs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving an articulated HGV (Class 1) on fixed trunking runs between supermarket distribution centres and stores

• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

• Managing time-sensitive deliveries while adhering to driving hours legislation

• Completing all relevant paperwork and using on-board tracking systems accurately

• Representing the client in a professional and customer-focused manner

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience (supermarket or trunking experience advantageous)

• Good knowledge of London routes and motorway networks

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
